Denmark

In 1871, the Danish Women’s Association was founded with the aim of fighting for women’s right to education. In the 1880s, several women’s organizations emerged, and the radical feminist journal “Hvad-Vi-Vil” was created. In 1915, women obtain the right to vote. Feminist organizations have historically been – and still are – important in the fight for equality in Denmark.
